Try to achieve perfection. Fail. Try to mend and to heal. Succeed to rescue but fail to reach perfection. Lose time. Redo. Do new. Lose time. Achieve something. Repeat.

 

A mold is a hollow container with the purpose to create identical replicas. 

Is there a similarity between identical and perfect?

We do worship the hand's ability to create unique items. 

Although, we do also prefer symmetry and seamlessness. 

Can I have both?

Some Chinas are only used for festive occasions, other for everyday life. 

Most plates are used to dine from, but a few are used as decoration on the wall. Ornamental plates have a long history, gradually transforming from practical items into representations of culture, social status, and artistic creativity.

 

Try to eat from a nonfunctional plate or put it on a wall to show what you achieved.

 

In a broad body of work, I have contemplated over time and

labor, failure, and perfection.
